Tour highlight : Kanchanaburi is one of the popular attraction in Thailand located in Myanmar border, the famous bridge over River Kwai became famous all over the world, during World War II, Japan constructed the meter-gauge railway line from Ban Pong, Thailand to Thanbyuzayat, Burma. The line passing through the scenic Three Pagodas pass runs for 250 miles. This is now known as the Death Railway. The famous Thailand Tiger Temple is located at Kanchanaburi, Wat Pha Luang Ta-Bua or we call Tiger Temple is a Theravada Buddhist forest temple in western of Thailand, It is a sanctuary for numerous animals, including several tame tigers. The Tigers walk around freely once a day and can be petted by visitors. The tiger temple is located in the Saiyoke district of the Kanchaburi province, it’s is not far from the border with Myanmar.

Itinerary Description:
  • 06:30 Pick up from hotel in city area (Pratunam/Silom/Sukhumvit Soi 1-26 only, other locations might cost extra charge for transfers)

  • 07:30 Departure from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi Province

  • 09:30 Visit the cemetery of the allied prisoners of World War 2. The Prisoners of war include men from Holland, Australia, England, South Asia, New Zealand, Denmark and other.

  • 10:00 Visit JEATH museum (40 baht ticket, not included)

  • 10:30Visit Bridge over the River kwai built by the allied prisoners of war

  • 11:00 group will go to the train station

  • 11:45 Take the train and travel along the death railway, the most dangerous curving bridge

  • 13:30 Thai Buffet Lunch

  • 14:30 Visit Saiyoknoi Waterfall, 30 mins free time

  • 16:00 Visit the Tiger Temple

  • 17:00 Departure from Tiger Temple to Bangkok

  • 19:00 Estimated time of arrival in hotel

  • Always have bottled drinking water handy
  • Bring enough cash. Most vendors do not accept credit cards and it can be a long walk to the next ATM
