Tour highlight : There are countless floating markets throughout the country, many within a couple of hours' of the capital. The colorfully clad merchants at these lively markets paddle along congested canals in sturdy canoes laden with fresh fruit and vegetables to sell to shoppers on the banks. Kanchanaburi, in Myanmar border is home to the famous bridge River Kwai, during World War II, Japan constructed the meter-gauge railway line from Ban Pong, Thailand to Thanbyuzayat, Burma, and The line passing through the scenic Three Pagodas Pass runs for 250 miles. This is now known as the Death RailwayThe infamous Thailand Tiger Temple is located at Kanchanaburi, Wat Pha Luang Ta Bua, or the Tiger Temple, is a Theravada Buddhist forest temple in western Thailand. It is a sanctuary for numerous animals, including several tame tigers. The tigers walk around freely once a day and can be petted by visitors. The Tiger Temple is located in the Saiyok district of the Kanchaburi province, not far from the border with Myanmar, along the 323 highway Thai lunch will be served at restaurant at Kanchanaburi (60min)

  • 06:30 Pick up from hotel in city area (Pratunam / Silom / Sukhumvit Soi 1-26 only)

  • 09:30Estimated time of arrival in Damnoen Saduak, Ratchaburi Province
    Take ride on the long tail boat for about 20 minutes
    1 hour free time in Damnoen Saduak

  • 11:00 Departure from Damnoen Saduak to Kanchanaburi Province

  • 12:00 Thai lunch at a local restaurant

  • 14:00 Visit Jeath Museum (40 baht ticket not included)

  • 14:30 See the Bridge over River Kwai

  • 15:00 Departure from River Kwai to Tiger Temple

  • 15:30 Arrival in Tiger temple (60 min)
